Cambridge, United Kingdom, 21st November 2024 – HL Global proudly unveils its groundbreaking 2-port Direct-to-Satellite (D2S) antenna system, engineered to advance Internet of Things (IoT) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) connectivity across diverse applications and integration environments. As a leader in wireless innovation, HL Global remains at the forefront of antenna technology, delivering solutions that provide exceptional performance and reliable communication.
Specifically designed for modern satellite networks, the D2S antenna system supports a broad range of frequencies while ensuring outstanding signal quality. Tailored for ground-based communication with low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, this compact yet powerful 2-port antenna system features high realized efficiency and Right-Handed Circular Polarization (RHCP) at both ports. Furthermore, the D2S antenna system is versatile enough to be integrated into CubeSat nano satellites, making it ideal for cutting-edge space applications.
The prototype of HL Global’s D2S antenna system was first showcased at Network X 2024, held from October 8–10 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris, France. This advanced solution supports IoT and GNSS (L1/E1/B1/G1 and L5/E5/B3/G3) frequency bands, including port 1: 860MHz–930MHz and port 2: 1164MHz–1215MHz and 1559MHz–1610MHz, offering unmatched flexibility and compatibility for satellite communication systems.
At HL Global, innovation drives everything we do. Our new 2-port D2S antenna system exemplifies our commitment to delivering performance-driven, cutting-edge solutions that integrate seamlessly into IoT and GNSS satellite communication ecosystems. This is another step forward in redefining the future of wireless connectivity.
