Horizontally polarized antennas play a vital role in enhancing wireless connectivity of high-performance WiFi Access Points (APs). The hardware design of these devices allows for antennas to be designed with high purity of both vertical and horizontal polarizations. The use of both polarizations allows to achieve more robust and stable wireless connections improving data throughput and the overall user experience.

Many types of dipole antennas can be used to achieve omnidirectional vertical polarization but to achieve the same for horizontal polarization requires a rather more complex design. Omnidirectional horizontally polarized antennas sought for applications in commercial and enterprise Access Points (APs) deployed in offices, shopping centers, stadiums, and educational institutions.

We developed several omnidirectional horizontally polarized antennas for WiFi including WiFi 6E and WiFi 7. These antennas feature excellent omnidirectional performance in terms of radiation pattern flatness and high horizontal polarization purity.

Horizontally polarized antennas are an excellent solution for designing antenna systems for premium Access Point (AP) products.
