Embedded off-board cable-fed inverted-F printed circuit board (PCB) antennas offer a myriad of advantages that make them a preferred choice in certain wireless communication applications. First and foremost, their compact size and low-profile design make them ideal for space-constrained CPE, such as Set-top-Boxes (STBs), video receivers, extenders, and IoT devices.

Inverted-F antennas demonstrate excellent performance in terms of peak realized gain and efficiency, providing reliable wireless connectivity across multiple frequency bands (WLAN and IOT). Moreover, these antennas are less susceptible to detuning from nearby components, ensuring stable and consistent performance.
